Supporting Food Relief and Small Business

Your support is needed now, more than ever. Food relief organizations are experiencing sustained increase in need due to COVID. Struggling businesses mean jobs lost and more individuals joining those lines.

For the past two months, the Rivertowns Chamber of Commerce partnered with On The Line to administer the Westchester Community Table Partnership Grant. On The Line focuses on utilizing restaurants to provide healthy and nutritious meals during the pandemic. Grant funds provided meals and vouchers to individuals in need in the rivertowns. The grant period ends on December 15th, but we can extend the program with independent fundraising. Contribute to match the grant award by clicking the donate button at www.on-the-line.org. Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry

The Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry has been serving the Rivertowns since 2011 by providing food in an accessible area for all citizens in need. The best way to donate is to visit www.dobbsferrypantry.org and donate monetarily online. Mail checks made out to “Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry” or grocery store gift cards to 343 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522. Food donations can be left at the church in the vestibule of the sanctuary or in the kitchen, during business hours at the office (M-Th from 9am to noon). SPRING Community Partners

SPRING provides necessary resources so that all children in Dobbs Ferry, regardless of means, can bloom, grow and reach their full potential. SPRING is working nonstop responding and adapting to the enormous challenges due to the Coronavirus pandemic. They help manage the Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry and they also provide seasonal assistance through a partnership with Family-to-Family (www.family -to-family.org). Hastings Food Pantry

The Hastings Food Pantry supports Hastings-on-Hudson neighbors struggling to put food on their tables. There are multiple ways to give -- food items can be dropped off at the community center Monday-Friday 9am-4pm and there is a drop box located at Foodtown. Monetary donations can be made to Family-to-Family (www.family -to-family.org), or checks can be made out to the Friends of Hastings Youth Council--which has always directly supported the food pantry. Cabrini Immigrant Services

Sponsored by Cabrini of Westchester, Cabrini Immigrant Services offers immigrants a haven of support, empowerment, and service. They welcome monetary donations via the Cabrini Eldercare website or by mail.
